John R. Toth, PE
Senior Consultant
John received a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois
University in 1985. Following graduation, he gained extensive experience
in machine design, development, fabrication, modification, testing and
failure analysis in both industrial plants and the marine environment.
He progressed to Project Manager accountable for the research and
development activities of an engineering team including planning,
scheduling, funding, budgeting and fabrication from prototype to
production.
In 1992, John completed the required course of study and received a
Master of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island. Moving to
Michigan in 1993, John continued his professional development in design,
testing and evaluation of high speed dies, tooling and machinery for the
pipe and mill industry. In this engagement, he supervised the
engineering staff responsible for machine design and modification. He
personally conducted failure analysis and evaluation of equipment in
service at the installation site. He directed equipment installation and
resolved operational problems with on line equipment.
In 1995, John joined the Walt Disney World Company in Orlando,
Florida as a contract employee retained to revise and upgrade ride and
show mechanical systems. He was responsible for providing engineering
and technical support related to mechanical hardware design and
development, safety, failure analysis, manufacturing, process
improvement, quality control and non-conformance reporting. He was the
coordinating force between the Disney Engineering, Quality Assurance,
Shop Services and Maintenance efforts. John received the Walt Disney
World Engineering "Stars Award" for outstanding problem solving and team
building.
John has continued to broaden his experience in machine design and
failure analysis with problem solving and testing in the canning and
processing industry. He designed and developed a machine that performs
high speed testing of pressurized aerosol cans.
Today he is a full time employee responsible for management of a
thirty person team consisting of Technical and Program Managers,
Mechanical Engineers, Designers, Draftsmen and document control
