Curtis E. Falany, PE
Senior Consultant
Curtis Falany has been an independent forensic electrical engineer
and expert witness for the last seventeen years. Previously, he was the CEO
of an electrical design build firm and a principal in a consortium
of companies serving the electrical, computer, and communications industries worldwide.
He has served as a member of the Florida Electrical Contractors Licensing
Board and as the author of the Hillsborough County Florida Electrical Code.
As a forensic engineer and expert witness, Curtis has assisted
clients in the
investigation and resolution of more than 400 cases both in the US and overseas.
He has given expert testimony in both Federal and State litigation. Curtis
has consulted on matters of Surety, Property, Casualty, and Fidelity.
Curtis is a Florida licensed Professional Engineer,
Electrical Contractor, and Building Contractor. He is a member of the Florida
Engineering Society (FES,) National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE,) and Institute of Electrical
and Electronic Engineers (IEEE.) He is a National Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE)
member and Board Certified Diplomate in Forensic Engineering by NAFE, a Council of Engineering &
Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB) Member Board.
